Today, Tuesday (May 26), the SimplyNavy Kitchen manned by Reservists of the Philippine Navy-Eastern Visayas and operated by Simply Share Foundation prepared CHOCOLATE CHAMPORADO, and POTATOE WEDGES for the food recipients in Sitio Ahos, Pagatpatan, Brgy. Pakna-an, Mandaue City; Sitio Budbod, Brgy. Tinago; Sitio Silangan I, Brgy. Tinago; and Sitio Silangan 2, Brgy. Tejero, Cebu City.
The food allocated to Sitio Mahayahay, Brgy. Carreta is now given to new recipients in Brgy. Tinago, Cebu City.
We are serving food (one meal a day for six days) to more than ~2,500 recipients in the Barangays we have identified. We are still providing ~20 recipients in an abandoned Amusement Park in Brgy. Pakna-an.
To date, WE HAVE SERVED more than ~91,500 MEALS since we started our Kitchen on April 4, 2020.
We sincerely wish we can continue serving meals to more beneficiaries during this extended Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) Period.
