The Cebu Food Bank and Soup Kitchen is currently preparing one meal day for six days to over 1,200 indigents from two communities : Sitio Ahos, Pagatpat, Brgy. Pakna-an, Mandaue City; and Sitio Sto. Niño, Brgy. Bo. Luz, Mandaue City.
Simply Share Foundation, Inc. which is managing the FoodBank is knocking on the doors of benevolent individuals/ business enterprises/NGOs/ Charitable Organizations to share their blessings either in cash or in kind so that this project will be sustained in the light of the CoViD-19 Pandemic wherein several of our kababayans are getting hungry. WE WHOLEHEARTEDLY ACCEPT DONATIONS IN CASH OR KIND.
A Team of Reservists from the Philippine Navy is responsible for the preparation of the meals. The Rotary Club of Cebu and Rise Against Hunger Philippines are providing the logistical support and financial assistance.
