On Saturday (July 4) and Sunday (July 5), the Cebu Food Bank and Soup Kitchen operated by Simply Share Foundation through the Kitchen manned by religious and lay volunteers at the St. Joseph the Patriarch (Mabolo Parish) Church headed by Fr. Pat Ornopia prepared Sotanghon with Mixed Vegetables and Ground Beef; Macaroni Salad and Rice (Saturday); and Mixed Vegetables with Fish and Squid Balls and Rice (Sunday) to ~900 food recipients in Sitio Pagatpatan (Chapels of Mother Teresa and San Roque) Brgy. Pakna-an, Mandaue City; and Sitio Mahayahay 2 and Sitio Kalinaw, Brgy. Carreta, NRA, Cebu City.
Since we embarked on this Feeding Program, we were preparing daily delicious and nutritious meals, six days a week (except Sundays) during the Enhanced Community Quarantine Period (ECQ) of the CoViD-19 Pandemic.
To date, WE HAVE SERVED more than ~113,800 MEALS.
We sincerely wish we can continue serving meals during this Extended Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) Period even to a select community.
