Today, Saturday (June 13), is the second Saturday after ECQ wherein the SimplyNavy Kitchen manned by Reservists of the Philippine Navy-Eastern Visayas and operated by Simply Share Foundation will prepare a weekly meal (every Saturday) to food recipients in Sitio Ahos, Pagatpatan, Brgy. Pakna-an, Mandaue City.
The meal being prepared today consists of Pinakbet with Marinated Beef and Rice.
Since we embarked on this Feeding Program, we were preparing daily delicious and nutritious meals, six days a week (except Sundays) during the Enhanced Community Quarantine Period (ECQ) of the CoViD-19 Pandemic.
To date, WE HAVE SERVED more than ~103,000 MEALS.
We sincerely wish we can continue serving meals during the General Community Quarantine (GCQ)Period. Hence, WE ARE STILL KNOCKING ON KIND HEARTS TO HELP US IN THIS NOBLE UNDERTAKING.
